The Backstage Pass Badge.
To earn the "Backstage Pass" badge the applicant must volunteer at four Stormer Music concerts/performances as a member of the backstage/tech/front of house crew.
The purpose of this badge is to help our musicians see the work and talent needed to run a show from start to finish. Our hope is this will help create a humble and appreciative approach in our musicians as they work with their teams.
Make A List
- Start by making a list of all the things that you think go into running a concert behind the scenes. Have this signed by your teacher.
- Plan which four concerts you will attend. Please note these have to be four different events (not all on the same day/weekend).
- Let the office know where and when you would like to attend.
- Please note this badge is for 13yrs and up.
Go To The Concerts
- Dress properly for the day (usually stage blacks).
- Be ready and willing to help wherever you can to help bring the show together for the performers.
- Take mental note of what you are doing and learning.
- Request opportunities to try different crews (sound team, lighting, stage, Front of House etc.).

- Make a list of all the things that go into running a show behind the scenes.
